Then I left school and worked in a hairdressing salon but I hated it so I discussed it with my parents again. By then I was 18, and they realised I was serious. But my father was right. It really is a hard world for a woman. For each time a man proves himself, I have had to do it ten times.”

Or I would maybe go to the beach.”
